OC-20 & OC-50 Installation Guide (PDF)
  • Oil must be 140 to 180 Farenheit. Common method of heating is with a band heater.
  • Oil must pass through a 100 micron filter before entering the centrifuge (no fish parts or potatoes)
  • With 2 to 4 passes the oil will be engine ready
    • More passes are needed because of "viscus drag" the oil hangs onto the solids. The centrifugal force needs to be applied longer to get the dirt to move and stick to the rotor. Common problem is not enough heat. Hotter is better and more times is better.
  • Cleaning frequency will depend on the level of contamination.
  • The centrifuge is not equipped with a motor. It is operated by the pressure of the liquid.
  • Any pressure under 80 PSI will result in sub par cleaning. For maximum RPM operate at 90 PSI.
